Salt Lake Community College Music Department
The Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) Music Department is a key partner of HHHN, providing vital support for our benefit concerts. SLCC offers Associate of Science (AS) and Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degrees in Music, preparing students for careers in performance, composition, production, and music education.
Through this partnership, SLCC faculty and students actively contribute to our events, serving as stagehands, the day of event coordination, and workshop facilitators. They assist in organizing meet-and-greet sessions, VIP experiences, backstage photograph sessions, and songwriting workshops, thereby enhancing audience engagement. This collaboration grants HHHN access to the Grand Theater at cost, eliminating rental fees, allowing more funds to support nonprofit initiatives.
The Grand Theater at Salt Lake Community College
The Grand Theater, located on Salt Lake Community College’s South City Campus, is a premier venue for live music performances, theatrical productions, and community events. With a seating capacity of 1,050, the theater offers an intimate yet spacious setting for HHHN benefit concerts.
Equipped with a state-of-the-art sound system, professional-grade lighting, and a full fly system for set changes, the Grand Theater ensures a high-quality concert experience for both performers and audiences. Its proscenium stage provides ample space for full-band performances, and the venue includes green rooms, dressing areas, and backstage access for artists.
